What is the most healthy fruit or vegetable you can eat?

Question by danny boy: What is the most healthy fruit or vegetable you can eat?
I know all fruit and veg is healthy but surely some must be more nutritious than others? I plan to eat 5 fruit/veg a day and want to select the 5 healthiest.

I would say mango’s are really really good for you as far as fruit goes, and for vegetables sweet potatoes aka yams are the most nutritious thing in the entire produce section.

    well celery is pretty good, actually there are no calories and even some negative calories!
    celery has such a low calorie count, and it takes more calories (as energy) then is in it to digest it

    Peas are almost the “perfect” vegetable, because their nutritional values are so well balanced and varied.

    You can check out the NuVal system. It rates food on a scale of 0-100. 100 being the best. I know bluberries, kiwi and lettuce are 100. Carrots are 99. Mushrooms are 96. Russet potatoes and cantelope are 93. http://www.nuval.com/
