What is a good over the counter appetite suppressant?

Question by numberflowerski: What is a good over the counter appetite suppressant?
I am trying to trim down and tone up a little before spring break. I am usually very cautious about what I eat. I usually eat very healthy. However, I’ve given myself “carte blanche” the past two weeks with regards to what and how much I eat. I need to get back into the “healthy swing” of things. I want to find something that will help me not feel hungry and keep me from craving those bad foods I’ve been eating lately. I’m female, 5’2 and weigh about 95 pounds, so I don’t want anything too strong because I am worried about the side effects.

Any suggestions?

I’ve got a suggestion, stop worrying about your weight. What are you, 15 years old? At your height and weight, you are perfectly fine and many people would kill for that body size; be happy with what you’ve got.

Oh, coffee helps suppress appetites. That’s about the only thing I feel comfortable suggesting as everything else your thinking about is bad for you. Appetites weren’t meant to be suppressed, our bodies crave food out of natural instinct.

if you think you’re hungry, drink some water. it might be false hunger, which is really thirst. drink lots of water (64 ounces in a 24 hour period) to keep feeling full, but don’t replace food with water. no bad side effects either.

I hear hodia is very good good. It’s a natural appetite suppressant that has zero side effects. It’s 100% natural—no chemicals at all. Talk to a pharmacist the next time you visit a grocery store and am sure they’ll be more than happy to tell you more about it.

You’re already underweight, losing more could put your health in serious jeopardy… If you’re unhappy about the shape of your body, you should consider strength training or pilates. It can help you tone up and build muscle, which will ultimately burn more calories in the long run.

please don’t lose any more weight.

be careful on spring break… and if you find yourself becoming preoccupied with this or other weight issues, i urge you to get some form of counseling soon. best wishes.
