    There is no shortage. You are an idiot if you go for a BSN today

    @PHANTOMSLAYER777 Where do you work? I’m going to make sure I don’t end up in the hospital where you work in your hands.

    I am a nursing student , the real world where I have to work on g my own gives me so much anxiety.

    @PHANTOMSLAYER777 I am tired of talking to a foreigner who has what should be, “my fn job.” I have nothing against these Filipinos, but they are a very different culture, and it is uncomfortable to be around people who can be hardly understood and are so different. They cry about the Mexicans, but what about our fn jobs.

    @PHANTOMSLAYER777 I have seen nurses being fired for no reason and lay offs to cut expenses. Six months later they were crying nurse shortage. The hospitals are often subsidized to recruit from over seas. They sometimes pay the new recruits more than the home nurse to compete with richer nations. I suspect the government allotments offsets their expenses are created by administration departments .This was happening a while back

    @shelyr I agree with you….

    See nursing nightmares on youtube and see WHY we need not only more nurses, but BETTER TRAINED NURSES for home health care. California is releasing thousands of developementally disabled and few nurses can handle severely autistic population! California families need GOOD cnas and lvns to help keep their children OUT of institutions.

    Nursing is a creepy field in the U.S. Creepy to say the least. The typical duplicitous death care I mention in my video. Only the imported foreigners praise American health care because to them, it’s a meal ticket. Creepy field, creepy nurses, and creepy system.

  10. PHANTOMSLAYER777 says:

    I am a nurse. You’d have to be nuts. This is just an excuse not to train Americans, and bring in foreigners.

    @phoenixbyrd2 No job. If you are seriously thinking of a career in health care do not go into nursing there is no shortage. I have a BSN from a top 50 program a prior degree and career in chemistry. I am going for my MSN on a part time basis and I plan on taking all 5 years to get it. I started out pre pharmacy and wish I never gave it up. If I had enough $ to last me 6 years I would try pharmacy again. If you are good at math and science go for pharmacy there will always be a shortage there.

  12. phoenixbyrd2 says:

    @magickunderpants Hope this isn’t true. I’m thinking about starting nursing school soon. Please tell me you’ve found a position. Hope you have.

  13. phoenixbyrd2 says:

    @lachilangitaloca How’s nursing school going? I’ll be starting my prerequisites soon – so exciting!

  14. shelyr says:

    Nursing shortage my ASS! I have been putting in RN applications left and right. Nothing! Not even a call for an interview. I have 3 years experience as an LVN and still don’t any calls. Yeah, shortage….sure, what a LIE!

  15. PHANTOMSLAYER777 says:

    Yea right! It is just an excuse to bring in more Asians at lower wages. I know, I work in this screwy business. Watch my video on health care. The nurses are mostly automatons, sheeple that think they are educated because they read some establishment textbooks on fake diseases.

  16. zwitterion24 says:

    Let the lazy doctors do the job!

  17. midnitedawn says:

    @BuranBuran01 very true

    My Girlfriend Just graduated from college last year with a Bachelor’s in nursing and license and all … She nailed her first interview for a pretty good job in one of America’s most reputable children’s hospital. CHOP… for everybody things are different . I was told by ppl about stuff i use to send off to immigration not getting back to me or if they do, they would take months…. hahahahaa… in 2 days i got a reply…. People dig personality, dont think your gonna get hired just like that

  20. vegan136 says:

    EXACTLY. Nursing programs around the country have years of waiting lists because THERE IS NO NURSING SHORTAGE! Don’t believe it!

  21. vegan136 says:

    There is no such thing as a nursing shortage! Talk to new grads in metropolitan areas and ask them how many months/years they’ve been looking for a job!!! What nonsense. Seriously. Ask somebody.

  22. echaru says:

    Saying there’s shortage for nursing is like saying Santa Claus is real!
    It is true that there’s no more job for nurse. I’ve been trying to find nursing job for months w/ my bachelor in nursing, RN license, BLS certification, and 2 yr Med/sur experience. Yes I am still unemployed.

  23. magicpet says:

    Just like the teacher shortage. They want to glut the market with labor to break the unions.

  24. magickunderpants says:

    This is a myth. I graduated from a highly ranked BSN program in a major city and I can not find work. If you are thinking about going to nursing school do not do it. It was a 35000 dollar mistake.

    TRue!
